Pitney Bowes One-in-a-Million Day

By Elysa Jacobs

May 22 was the 13th annual One-in-a-Million Day at Pitney Bowes with a goal of having every employee around the world to get active for at least 15 minutes.

The event first launched in 2006 as a fun way to remind employees about how fitting in fitness is so important both mentally and physically.

This year, 71 locations held group events at Pitney Bowes locations and off-site locations like the Peachtree City training campus in Georgia and many Agile employees participated from home and on the road. Nearly 3,000 employees recorded activity at pbprojectliving.com with many more participating around the world.

A very big thank you goes out to the almost 100 Wellness Champions, Event Leaders and volunteers who, on top of their busy regular jobs, planned and organized walks, plank challenges, Zumba classes, scavenger hunts, jump rope, hopscotch, yoga and more. The energy and engagement came through in every picture.

Many employees (and family members) are continuing their goals with our next fitness focus with Get Moving: the race to amazing destinations which started 3 June.
