Pitney Bowes and the Norwalk Community College Foundation

On January 21st, the Norwalk Community College (NCC) Foundation began spring semester with a welcome back workshop with Pitney Bowes’ VP of Global Talent Acquisition, Amy Richman, and VP of Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement, Sheryl Battles. The Norwalk Community College Foundation has a long history with Pitney Bowes, with senior executives serving on their board of directors for many years.

The Mission of the NCC Foundation is to help raise money to support Norwalk Community college programs and scholarships. They invest and distribute those funds so students of all ages benefit from challenging opportunities for self-improvement and intellectual growth, as well as inspiring and engaging the local community to share talents and resources. Amy is a current member of the board, entering her third year of service. She also serves as chair of their marketing committee. Amy and Sheryl presented on the importance of your own personal brand and communication skills. The discussion was filled with lively conversation and was a great look into the talent and promise of the future generation that will be entering the workforce.
