The Pitney Bowes Women’s Inclusion Network (PBWIN) is designed to support the inclusion and development of women to further the company’s business success. Participation in the network and its activities are open to employees of all genders who want to help the company gain a competitive advantage by supporting women’s growth and using their expertise to deliver more value in our markets.
PBWIN is part of Pitney Bowes global diversity and inclusion strategy which seeks to help the company win in its markets by understanding market and cultural differences to serve our clients better; respecting the contributions of each in order to work together better; strengthening our ability to win with the best talent; and using our diversity of thought and life experiences to fuel innovation.
Our own rich history of diversity and inclusion reflects the company’s understanding of how we all win together. During the 1940s, like much of the U.S., the Pitney Bowes workforce had a substantial number of women because the world was at war. When the war was over, however, Pitney Bowes maintained an inclusive environment. In the 1980s the company diversified its Board of Directors and in the 1990’s we won several accolades for our diverse and inclusive environment, including a Catalyst Award and a story and cover of Time magazine for our inclusive practices of women in senior management and the Board of Directors.
Today our company’s women’s resources group is named PBWIN for a reason. It is an affirmation of Pitney Bowes long-held belief that when women win we all win. In the competitive global markets that we serve we need 100% of each team member to deliver the innovation, value, and experience that our stakeholders expect and deserve. By creating opportunities for each of us to reach our potential it enables all of us to deliver our best.
Our global webinars featuring bestselling authors and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists are just one of the ways PBWIN supports continued growth, development & the recruitment of women.
On March 8th, PBWIN takes on RESILIENCE featuring Jan Bruce CEO and co-founder of meQuilibrium presents “Resilience – How to be resilient and sustain success in an environment with constant change and transformation.”
